Our Process
Briefing
At the start of any new project, we undertake a comprehensive consultation to understand the Client’s vision, needs, and budget. We send them an extensive questionnaire, gather detailed information about the site, its context, and any specific requirements or constraints. This initial phase includes discussions on project goals, design preferences, timelines, and regulatory considerations. Our aim is to establish a clear and collaborative foundation, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and well-informed before moving forward.
Concept Design
We explore initial ideas to transform the brief into a tangible concepts, creating preliminary sketches and layouts. This stage involves exploring various design options, considering functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. We use a range of tools from photographs to mood boards to physical models and 3d renders/ Virtual Reality (at Client’s request). We present these concepts to the Client for feedback, ensuring alignment with their vision and requirements. We crack the code to then develop it into a detailed blueprint for what is to come.
Design Development
From doorknobs to paving details, we design everything in this stage. We take into account Client feedback from the concept stage and revise and refine the design further. Giving technical backup to the design, this is also the stage where structural and service consultants would get involved. We meet and coordinate with Consultants. Materials and finishes are explored and locked down. A final set of design drawings and renders are prepared for Client approval. Once we have the green light, we get into production mode. We do not liaise with authorities for planning approvals.
Execution
This is where the magic happens, and visions turn to reality. A full set of execution drawings (Good
for Construction), specifications, Bill of Quantities and all things technical are prepared, with every inch accounted for. We take pride in the very detailed drawings we issue. Once work commences on site, our team undertakes periodic inspection and communication systems are set in place to ensure
execution happens smoothly and per issued drawings.
Handover
The handover phase marks the completion of the project, and is the most exciting for everyone. We ensure everything meets the Client’s expectations and contractual specifications. Keys are handed over. We do a thorough ultimate inspection, addressing any final adjustments, and prepare for photographic documentation. Finally, we click happy pictures with our Clients!
